The Philco 40-130 is a high-end shortwave / AM radio. Produced in the year 1939 this radio has undeniable charm and character! Featuring a multi tone wood veneer cabinet, and stylish hand cut speaker cutouts. This 75 year old Philco has been properly cared for it’s entire life, and is an outstanding condition!

Inside this radio we find a 6 tube shortwave / AM amplifier and a 5 inch electrodynamic loudspeaker. This radio is equipped with independent bass / tone control, 3 position band selector switch.

This radio has been restored and converted with a direct MP3/iPhone line-in. USB charger and Bluetooth upgrades available.
